The Receptionist must be approachable, demonstrating professionalism and warmth in all face-to-face, phone or written actions. As the first contact for FB&T clients, this position must exude confidence in FB&T and the ‘Raving Fans’ environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Energetically develops a ‘raving fans’ environment when dealing with internal and external clients.
- Always greets clients by name in a timely, cheerful and efficient manner and directs them to the proper department or person.
- Politely and professionally answers main switchboard, direct calls to employees or e-mails them with messages, and answer clients’ questions concerning their accounts or information about the bank, in general.
- Assures exceptional client service by assisting client in a professional, timely and efficient manner while consistently applying the Raving Fans Standard.
- Updates various employee lists and manages birthday and anniversary card distribution.
- Manages cards/gifts for significant employee family events.
- Places orders for business cards and signage as requested.
- Keeps the lobby and kitchenette neat and stocked with coffee, magazines and candy.
- Prepares and places order for coffee and customer area supplies for the Cascade location bi-weekly.
- Coordinates building vendors ensuring work is complete and billing is accurate for services performed.
- Completes a variety of clerical tasks accurately, promptly and efficiently. This may include maintenance of retail manuals, typing reports, letters, and forms.
- Performs a variety of clerical tasks accurately, promptly and efficiently and aides executive assistant in various administrative capacities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated client relations skills and a commitment to quality customer service.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with the ability to interact professionally with employees and clients.
- Great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and function accurately under pressure.
- Extreme sensitivity to confidentiality of clients and bank proprietary information.
- Advanced keyboarding and calculator skills with detailed and extensive experience using PC, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements; this position is not exempt from overtime (non-exempt). The incumbent must work all hours necessary to perform job tasks described (at a minimum 8:15 am to 5:15 pmm) including all hours the Bank is open. Overtime is paid only with pre-approval by the Supervisor.
- Excellent credit history.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move about the office effectively. Ability to effectively use all tools and equipment needed. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
